Wildpark is creating a theatre performance for Theatre after Dam for the 6th time, to be played on the evening of the National Remembrance Day on 4 May. What does it mean?
Theatre maker Julia Hesdahl is creating a theatre performance with a group of players based on the stories of elderly people who lived through World War II and the players' own reflections on it. This year's theme is "critical thinking and vigilance in times of disinformation and searching together for a shared truth".
We will rehearse from 14 March on Fridays and a few full days during the May holidays.
Theatre After The Dam is a nationwide initiative. On National Remembrance Day on 4 May, more than a hundred performances related to World War II play simultaneously throughout the country. And that is a very special experience!
The show plays on 4 May , at Piet Hein Eek's Station.
