You've probably had these thoughts; I never want to become like all those adults around me. Why are older people often so stuck-up and why do adults often act so complicated.

The adults-the people who are almost always tired, who cling to their ideas, need coffee to get started, who say you should ‘be yourself’ but at the same time stack rules like bricks. Adults who claim to listen, but often mostly want to explain. Who laugh at your dreams, forgetting they once had one themselves.

What do children and young people see, when they look at “big people”?

A physical, visual, playful and inquisitive workshop On the floor, we will visualise adults. How do they actually talk, move, doubt, control and relate. We will explore their idiosyncrasies. We collect words, attitudes and feelings. This will create short scenes, mini-portraits or visual moments. As if we were studying a new species. In between playing, we talk together: What makes someone “adult”? When do you actually become one? And which adult do you want to become - or not?
