Our inspiration for this workshop is the film "the Virgin Suicides." A group of neighbourhood boys, from suburban Michigan, tells the story of the, for their dormitory town, both fascinating and disturbing, but above all completely incomprehensible suicides of five of their then neighbouring girls, the sisters Lisbon. Sophia Coppola made a very nice film about this. You should watch that one. And there is also a book with very beautiful texts, full of monologues and dialogues. Just read it.

In this series, we will engage with text material from the book and the film. We will create and play scenes and give them our own twist. In this workshop, you will learn to relate to text and give it form on the floor. You will learn the technical side of acting but also how to make your personality expressive.

We will present our material to the public in December.
