On a youth holiday to the Costa Brava. Lloret de Mar is calling! For a long time the party destination for many young people. All brakes loose in a world full of clubs, pubs, tapas, cocktails, cervezas, terraces, shops and endless boulevards with palm trees. So celebrate. It's hot. Very hot. Even brooding. Sultry summer evenings on pounding beats. Meet the love of your life. Romantic walk on the beach. Or drink too much and still want to dance. Your entire hotel room full of empty pizza boxes. Or the villa you rented with your group of friends, with private pool. Or talk for a long time about that guy who really didn't understand it all. Or a pleasure ride on a banana boat. Because what do you do when your head is on fire all day?

Spain will be a montage show about being young and going on vacation without parents for the first time. Theater maker Lenneke Maas is fascinated by the attraction for these so-called ‘drinking holidays’. Together with young people, she will investigate this. How do you stay up? How do you deal with peer pressure and what is the ultimate in going completely "lukewarm". Spain will be a physical performance in which we will say a lot with little language and a lot of images.
