Ferm (6+)

Ferm is a kid who never does anything by halves. For instance, he likes to have a lot of fun, takes a lot of risks and has very big ideas. His imagination takes him to the best places. Sometimes those ideas are so big that the house is too small, then something goes wrong, someone gets angry and he has to go to the garage, cool off. Nothing is loud, big or exciting enough for Ferm and in his enthusiasm he sometimes goes too far, is too loud or too busy. And when Ferm gets too Ferm, he feels everything very intensely, and gets angry, or quiet, or even worse, sad. Then he suddenly cries very loudly (because Ferm never does anything by halves). One day, Ferm stumbles across Shark in the garage. Shark is a cuddly shark and a friend, and helps Ferm cool down and regulate and understand the world a little better. He comes up with all kinds of handy solutions when Ferm is too Ferm once again, and together with Shark, Ferm defies his emotions, and learns that having big feelings and temperaments does not detract from the beauty of who you really are.

Ferm is a visual, funny and thought-provoking ode to the maladjusted child, for everyone aged 6 and up. For all the Steve Jobsen and Pipi Longstocking in the world, inspired by the spirited main character from Tirza van Schie's book series of the same name. About feeling big, pushing boundaries and thinking in terms of possibilities.
